I am the sole Director at The Cost Engineer Limited.

I’ve been a construction contractor’s quantity surveyor all of my working life. I’ve worked for small sub-trade contractors, second teir commercial contractors and also for the biggest commercial contractor in the country.

My expertise is really in estimating and I believe this is where I can add the most value. But aligned with that is my passion for leveraging information technology to drive efficiency & productivity. We all know that time is money, and in my view properly utilizing the best tools is fast, and with no compromise on quality.

In terms of Quantity Surveying, I’ve spent 10 years with a second tier commercial contractor where I was able to manage all financial aspects of projects through their total lifetime - from preliminary estimates through contract price negotiation, contract administration, claims, variations, cost reporting & forecasting, close out documentation and on to agreement of final accounts.

While I assure you of my personal attention always, I am resourced to handle any demand.
